What I wish I knew: College application advice from current students from the class of 2026:
- Give yourself time—start while you are in your junior year of high school at the latest. Play to your strengths—highlight your real strengths, no matter what they may be.
- Do your research—ask yourself: Would this college be a good fit for you? Talk to your counselors—take advantage of free resources.
3.Visit colleges during your junior year or the fall of your senior year. Ask yourself, “Would this college exceed your expectations?”
